A message from Stuart:
We stand with Ukraine 🇺🇦 💪 💙💛
A year in the making The Bothaneers along with our forthcoming album, Prize Fighter, has explored our creative and musical collaboration to a whole new depth that we are so proud of. We have been so excited to get this single out and finally release it. The joy of the process and fun we have had has been a total trip and a fun experience overall. However releasing our new single in these days comes with a bitter sweet situation out of our control and it only feels right to do this. I have pushed back the commercial release for a futher two weeks, 8th April, on all major platforms such as iTunes, Spotify, Amazon Music etc. The Bothaneers is now available exclusively on our website
www.odia-music.com and our bandcamp page
odia.bandcamp.com for just £1 or you can pay more on bandcamp if you want, where all proceeds over the next two weeks will be donated to
www.unicef.org.uk/.../donate-now-to-protect.../
A drop in the Ocean I know but please help us support the innocent children of Ukraine and please share to help spread the word.
I'll leave you with this quote to hopefully make sense of what's happening
"War is always the same. It is young men dying in the fullness of their promise. It is trying to kill a man that you do not even know well enough to hate. Therefore, to know war is to know that there is still madness in the world.”

The Bothaneers is the new single release by Odia. Inspired by true tales of the outlawed Bothy Culture of Scotland. The follow up single to Dinna Fash recently performed at BBC Introducing for Celtic Connections 2022.
Odia fuse Celtic, World and Electronica to make a tasty blend of music that will give you a sense of reflection and exploration of your emotions. Exploring body and mind through contemporary Scottish dance, with a visual wonderland.
